HISTORICAL AND AXIOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF SUFISM
Abstract
The article is devoted to the definition of the essential content of the concept of Sufism, the analysis of the provisions of Sufism/Tasawwuf (true traditional Islamic trend) in the axiological aspect. The relevance of the research topic is beyond doubt, every Muslim should know the true origins of Sufism, which are inextricably linked with the provisions of traditional Islam coming from the Prophet Muhammad. Sufism is aimed at purifying the hearts, protecting a Muslim from bad intentions and deeds, because the knowledge of the Creator frees a Muslim from the bondage of his passions.
